Physical Education, the prime area of education with the aim to wholesme developmant of a child including not only physical development but also mental, social and spiritual development. but nw a days physical education in india is not achieving its aim, why? when we think a complete man we think he/ she should be physically fit, socially active, mentally strong and spiritually powerful and this gives only by physical education. in general education they emphasis only on mental development of a child, but in physical education the main aim is that a chil should be cmplet fit n fine in every area. but its a draw back that physical education is not a subject in upsc exam. a physical educator when cmplete his graduation in physical education i.e bachlor of physical education can not take part in upsc exam and can not become a administrator aur can not qualified for I.A.S. exam. becuse in civil services physical education is not a subject, my question here is why? physical educationist nt take part in civil service exam. if he take part in exam as on the basis of his graduation he will take any other subject like criminology, sociology and he didnt qualify even pre exam of this test. its a question of discussion why physical education is not a subject in upsc exam. this is a very big issue for the physical educator and the govt must be think and add physical education as a subject in civil services exam. |
