Soft skills sould be made compulsory for colleges & Post Graduate studies

In modern  Competitive  world , Soft skills are very important for success in career and professional life. It has been established through  survey that  70 % of  university toppers fail to succeed in their life.

One may have very good knowledge  of  an area. But what is important is to utilise  one knowledge for himself or herself or  for others , only then he can be successful. He need to sell himself and his/ her knowledge . Here skills of soft knowledge is very critical. 

Soft Skills deal with qualities an individual possesses.  These encompass communication, listening, and assertiveness.

You can be taught the world's best theories and how to be good at your job but until you communicate  your ideas effectively , your ideas will die a premature death.

 Some management  schools teach soft skills but very superficially. Students may not attend these classes as they aren't required  to do so to score well in the exam  paper. Engineering  graduates who are professionally competent but lose out in their interviews for job and promotions , because they do not have any corporate grooming .

I personally believe that soft skills should be made compulsory at college and post graduate levels to make our students more effective in interpersonal communication and relationships,  also  to make them sensitive at others.
