At CEAT, we are committed to improving the quality of life-of our team members, and of the larger communities that build society. We undertake several socio-ecological initiatives that ensure a brighter, healthier and safer future for all.Our endeavours include offering students vocational guidance and educational assistance, creating awareness about AIDS and other health problems, encouraging rural development, and initiating sapling plantation drives. We are a socially-aware organisation, and continually strive to change lives, for the better.

Training young minds

We encourage students to visit our manufacturing plants and also offer them vocational training. It goes without saying that we extend wholehearted support to the students during their visits and training.

Spreading AIDS awareness

On World AIDS Day, CEAT organised a cycle rally to promote AIDS awareness. The rally was flagged off by Mr Paras Chowdhary, the Managing Director of CEAT. Twenty-nine employees set off from the CEAT head office to the plant in Bhandup, carrying posters with AIDS messages. The representatives of Mumbai District AIDS Control Society organised street plays at the CEAT head office and the Bhandup plant.

CEAT takes pride in being a good corporate citizen. We continually involve ourselves with national causes and contribute without equivocation to the progress of society.
Giving back to Mother NatureOn World Environment Day, the CEAT employees planted saplings at the Bandhup factory. A similar drive was undertaken at the CEAT factory in Nashik, where our people planted 292 teak saplings on the premises.
