CUMI has initiated structured need identification with the help of Madras School of Social Work in the neighbourhood community. For example, infrastructure development in Schools, Village Hospitals and organising Health Camps and safety camps. Medical camp conducted by CUMI - CUTFAST

cumi cutfast at pallikaranai conducted a social welfare medical camp part of it's community commitment and medical calender on 08/08/2004 at a primary school opposite to our factory.

this has benefited more than 200 patients of near by narayanapuram and pallikkaranai villages. a team of 30 doctors from sree ramachandra medical college hospital did the show in an absolute service sense.

3 general physicians with a lab did blood pressure & diabetic screening. about 7 cases had high blood sugar were detected.

team of more than 10 dentists, this time brought a dental chair along. minor procedures like extraction and scaling were done there itself about 58 persons were beneficiaries.

A team of 3 Eye Specialists did refraction tests and prescribed glasses. With concern for “PREVENTION OF BLINDNESS“, the Hospital has come forward to do cataract surgery with lens implantation for a very subsidised cost. About 4 elderly people will benefit from this.

Primary Health Centre

The society plays a major role in the growth of any organisation. In turn it is the responsibility of the organisation to reciprocate.

Towards this we donated medical equipment required for the Primary Health Center in Royakotta, near Dharmapuri.

Our company has sponsored medical equipment to Government Primary Health Centre, Kelamangalam, Hosur.

Road Safety for School Children

During the Safety month a Road safety campaign for School children (employees children and students of Vellayn Chettiar High School Tiruvottiyur) was conducted.
