Now online Sudoku, Hangman, Crossword for child rights

Kolkata (PTI): With a view to spreading awareness about child rights, a series of games like Sudoku, Hangman and Crossword have been posted online which will teach the young participants about violation of their rights and other issues.

"Issues like child marriage, gender discrimination, child labour, child education and child healthcare would be covered through the games. The participants would also be aware of abuses and exploitation the children come across," a spokesperson for the Child Rights and You (CRY) which has placed the games online.

Each of the games starting with Hangman and followed by Sudoku and Crossword would be available for two weeks. The games have been made available only for two weeks to garner more participants, the representative of the child rights organisation said.

At various points in the game, different messages about child rights and other issues would be flashed.
