Dear Friends,
The home for the Aged at Andheri East, is conducted 6y the Little Sisters of the Poor. their sole occupation is the relief and care of the needy aged admitted to the home. Caste or religious belief are not obstacles to the acceptance of any applicant, the only requisites being poverty and old age.

Here the elderly find a home, wherein there is security, food, shelter, clothing and medical care. A qualified physician attends and several specialist give honorary service. The home has infirmaries, physiotherapy, a dental unit, and an occupational therapy department which brings much happiness.

The Home at Andkeri East was started in 1958 and is now 'home' for 150 elderly residents, for both ladies and for gents. Naturally, a project like this entails a heavy financial burden, but the sisters together with their elderly people are confident that the good people of mumbai  will come to their assistance, since we depend entirely on public charity for support. We therefore come to ask you to 6ndfy assist us in serving these needy Old People through a donation in cask or/and kind.
