Dear Sirs, With heavy heart I am sending this mail to you. My first son, R.Guru Murthy who works with L&T, wanted to do PhD (Commerce) with Madras University and approached many of the guides who rejected his ambition and said they can encourage only full time Scholars.

Approached many guides (Commerce) to take him as a part time PhD.scholar but all in vain

I wish some one who is having a roll with Madras University to reccomand his name so that he can join as a part time PhD scholar and write his PhD thesis with expertise as he is with a leading firm.

| 1. For Commercial organisations: |
Please encourage students in Part time as many scholars as many students are not rich enough to spend. India is not rich and particularly many forward community students are not getting scholaships.

Please show interest

| 3. For Government: |
Please ask all the guides to submit the names of the PhD. scholars and ask them to give 25% of the seat to the persons working in Industry.
