I  request  fellow members to think and suggest how to make

Corruption socially  unacceptable ?

 

I personally feel that corruption  is by and large acceptable in

the Society.

 

Most of  the people shall criticize and abuse the ministers , MP. MLA or 

Corporators, Govt. officers for corruption .But same people shall announce

proudly that  their son or  son-in -law earn by way of salary RS: 30,000 but

earn another  RS: 50,000 "uparka".

 

     They shall also offer and try to get marry their  daughters to such rich persons or persons' sons who have became  rich by way of  corruption. This is not the case with criminals and smugglers.

    I  had stopped thinking  about corruption untill I heard from Mr. Vinay

   that  "Let's not be sceptical about curtailing corruption."

(  I  have reason to believe him) and it is right  that You can not win

   a war unless you believe that You can win .

    

    I had been going to new  Custom House often  before two years and observed that almost

    all lady or gentlemen officers shall accept notes above the table , count the notes and

    ask  to replace the notes which are not found  Okay in full glare of  hundreds of people .

 

 There was no reason to complain because businessmen knew  by experience that

   these staff are not ultimate beneficieries of  full amount. For Businessmen , this amount is

less then demuragge and Interest on delayed export or import  consignment by a day or two or a week.

     But I  am seriously  thinking  on way out for better system or procedure.
