| Description: Dear Sir,
Thalassaemia is a genetic blood disorder in which affected child is unable to maintain normal hemoglobin level.If left untreated limits the life span to 3 to 5 years. Suffering child requires blood at the interval of about 15 to 20 days to survive, and also requires medicines which are very costly approximately rupees one lac per annum which is beyond the reach of most. The treatment is too torturous and painful, besides heavy expenses parents and patients have to suffer heavy mental tension.
Blood is life line for these patients. Our organisation Foundation Against Thalassaemia is organising blood donation camp every month in our city to meet the requirement of blood for thalassaemia patients. Many famous personalities like Mr.Kapil Dev, Mr.Narinder Chanchal, Mr. Bhupinder Singh (Bhupi) are donating regular blood for our organization. We are also helping these patients by providing medicines, free education and all the requirements of these patients.
This organisation was established by Mr. Ravinder Dudeja (General Secretary) in 1995 and registered in 2001 under Societies Act. All donation to our organisation is exempted under Income Tax Act 80(G).
We need donation in shape of medicines, financial Aid, sponsorship for our blood donation camps.

‘Foundation Against Thalassaemia [Regd]’ is the only one organization in this area which fighting a battle against dreaded disease known as Thalassaemia. Thalassaemics children Completely depending on the periodic blood transfusion and regular supply of medicines till the very end of their lives, the children suffering from the scourge of Thalassaemia need assistance and above all care, affection and understanding. It is our moral duty as fellow human being, to address this challenge faced by our children. Summoning courage and compassion we must come forward to motivate people to donate blood for this cause and extend assistance to the best of our ability to alleviate the suffering of the children affected by this disease and make them smile to face this grave threat to their lives. Such an approach not only helps the children but also purifies us and makes our own lives noble and service oriented. By thus serving Thalassaemia affected children we must realize that they have given us an opportunity to realize the larger goal for which human beings take birth and strive to achieve it.

"Foundation Against Thalassaemia" is a registered NGO based at Faridabad since 1995.Its members are engaged in various activities aimed for 'Prevention and Treatment' of a dreaded disease Thalassaemia. We are helping Thalassaemics by proving free medicines and blood. As you know Thalassaemia is genetic incurable disease in which affected child unable to maintain normal hemoglobin level. Completely depending on the periodic blood transfusion and regular supply of medicines till the very end of their lives, the children suffering from the scourge of Thalassaemia cannot be treated with any type of diet/tonic or medicine. The only solution effected child requires blood transfusion at the interval of 15 to 20 days to survive till last breath and also requires costly medicines approximate 5 to 10 thousands per month. The treatment is too torturous and painful besides heavy expenses; patients and their parents have to suffer heavy mental tension.
We organize regular blood donation camps for the Thalassaemics and campaign for the awareness about Thalassaemia. Our Main Goal Help Thalassaemics To Live & Eradicate Thalassaemia. As we all know that without motivation it is not possible regular blood donation. A Celebrity can motivate people to donate blood. You can tell us his / her name postal address, email id and phone No. Their one visit can save many Thalassaemics. Please help us in this matter. One visit can spread the word “Thalassaemia” by thus they and you can save many people to face endless problem, no parent will see their kids die before them as mostly happen a family with Thalassaemia.
