PARTNER  IN LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AND ALSO BE PART OF THE ACTIVITIES FOR THEIR DEVELOPMENT……

Statistics prove that it is important to teach kids something that can be ingrained in them for a lifetime.  This can be done only at an early age and we believe that it is good values, like teaching them on honesty, boosting their self esteem, teaching them to face their fears and to be able to voice their thoughts and views, teaching them about cleanliness and hygiene. We know that even if they may not grow to be engineers and doctors, these values which are ingrained in them from childhood will remain for a life time and they will pass it on to their next generation.

I am enclosing a brief introduction.

Introduction:

To give a brief, People Pro is a private limited company teaching Leadership and Life skills. We are over 8 years and present in Bangalore and Chennai. We have impacted over 65000 students. We are present in most Elite schools, like DPS, Baldwin’s etc...

Well last year we thought that it’s only fair that we do something for underprivileged children too, when we talk of underprivileged children, we mean socially and economically weaker sections... which includes government school kids, village kids etc...

What we are doing currently:

We have currently adopted 5 government schools; we, as a company, have taken responsibility for 2 of these, 3 others are being sponsored by IGATE, Tech Mahindra and Titan. This programme is currently new, but is gaining a lot of momentum as people see value in it. We understand for CSR activities most corporate needs a foundation to deal with. Hence we are registered as a foundation. We also deal with associations, trusts and a group of individuals willing to adopt a section of a school.

What do we do?

q      A unique 1 yr Leadership Program, Integrated into the school curriculum.

q       For kids aged 6-16 years.

q       Interactive life skill-based teaching.

q       Innovative training methodologies.

q       A fantastic journey of self-discovery.

q       A highly stimulating and totally fun Learning.

What about how you can practically be Involved ?

*       Be A Mentor/Big Buddy                  - September for volunteering

*       Be A Life Skill Trainer                       - Optional to those who are free

*       Be Part of Real Life Applications   - Again for volunteers

*       Be A Career Counselor                    - December Season

*       Season of  Giving                             - Donation and giving activities

*       Get Creative!                                    - Writing of short stories, activities, suggestions to teach kids

*       Be A Family Coach                           - Volunteers.

We facilitate all of these so that you have no hassles about how to go about it. We are open to suggestions from you.

Is it too costly?

We do not think it’s too expensive for a year’s programme which roughly works out to 1000/- per child. We but strongly recommend corporates to adopt at least a min of 300 children, to make an impact...We also allow the Individual/corporate to give this amount as two installments.

We are  registered as People Pro foundation.

 Thanks and regards
